WANTED - Looking for a small country home with garden

Hello,

we are a small mother-and-daughter family, living close to nature and looking for a simple place in the Irish countryside to call home.

What we are searching for:

A small house or cottage (renovation welcome)

With a bit of land or garden (for growing vegetables and keeping a few hens)

Outside of towns, in a quiet rural area


Who we are:
We live a simple, self-sufficient lifestyle, close to nature and the seasons. I am self-employed with a creative project for sensitive and nature-loving children (Whispers in the Woods), and my daughter is homeschooled with lots of outdoor learning. We value peace, community spirit, and respect for land and life.

What matters to us:

A safe, quiet place surrounded by fields, woods or lakes

Friendly neighbours and a supportive local community

A chance to bring new life into an old home


Maybe you know of a little house left behind after an elderly aunt or grandmother passed away or moved into care – with all the things still inside, waiting for someone to love it again. That is exactly the kind of place we are looking for.
